Beema Bamboo is a great source of generating electricity. 200 acres (80 hectare) of high-density Beema Bamboo plantation can sustainably produce 1MW (1 MW / hour, 7200 MW hours / year) of electricity for several years. This will be sufficient for average electricity consumption of 5000 households in India.
